The multi talented, multi award winning artiste brought out Emtee on the visuals for ‘Popular’ and the hip hop streets can’t keep calm.
The visuals she released as directed by Edible Elevens depicts her being in class rocking a School uniform. Let’s just agree Rouge looks absolutely amazing in whatever she rocks.
On the cameo, Rouge is seen dancing some synchronized dance moves that makes you appreciate Rouge even more for all the efforts she puts on her craft.
On the actual record as produced by Mae N. Maejor, K-Beatz and Wichi 1080 makes you understand and pay respect to Rouge and Emtee’s lyricism, the entire record, from the start to the finish, both established artistes goes in on the record.
This record right here will forever be considered as one of the best rap records not only South Africa but the entire African region has ever put out. The ‘Popular’ record is clearly a classic and it’s just a few months old since it got released.
Rouge makes her first appearance with ‘Popular’ after a short hiatus following her debut album ‘The New Era Sessions’ released in 2017 and she’s back as if she never left to begin with.
Clearly the rap game needs Rouge to be a part of it, we don’t her to take a brief hiatus or any hiatus at all and with her latest music video, she brings back something that we didn’t know we missed, some positive energy that can never be ignored. Rouge might as well be synonymous to rap, she knows it so well and her versatility of the rap game which she does it with such ease and seamless manner is something most rappers(both men and female rappers) doesn’t have
