K.O tells his fans not to slander artistes who won at the SAHHA 88

K.O took to social media a couple of minutes ago to talk to his fans and address the alleged speculations that he was “robbed” from winning at the 8th annual South African Hip Hop Awards even after putting in work the entire 2019.

K.O who absolutely nailed his performance yesterday at the awards show in Johannesburg performing his hit record ‘Supa Dupa’ took time to say that he didn’t win anything at all and he was okay with that and that he wasn’t robbed of anything since for starters, he didn’t even campaign.

“Ola… in light of the #SAHHA2019 I wanna congratulate all the winners, great run this year y’all! Now, as much as I appreciate the disappointment expressed by some of my supporters, I hereby urge y’all not to slander the artists who rightfully won in the process!” his tweet read.

For starters, K.O has made it clear that he went to perform consciously expecting nothing at all since his focus was on giving the fans what they wanted by performing ‘Supa Dupa’ hit record off his latest project, ‘PTY UnLTD’.

“To be clear, no I wasn’t RoBbEd! I didn’t campaign at all & went into #SAHHA2019 consciously expecting nothing. My focus was more on killing my #SupaDupa performance last night ✊?” he continued.

K.O has had one of the successful rap career comebacks we have seen in history SA's rap history, he didn't put out any projects in three years and when he started releasing projects, he topped numerous charts as if he never left to begin with. Nobody can stop his hustle even away from hip hop realm since he is also an entrepreneur, businessman and a brand ambassador. Source: @mrcashtime/Instagram

The ‘Say U Will’ hitmaker is super grateful to his fans globally for enabling him to continue to top the charts and also giving him a second chance in the rap game since he was supposedly written off the rap’s map and being off the radar in the past 3 years.

“In closing I’m just happy to be back on these charts fam!!! And having the people’s ears again, considering how I was supposedly ’written off’ over the past 3 years! Extremely grateful for another shot at continuing my journey & contributing to the culture. Love ❤️” his last tweet about the South African Hop Hop Awards situation read.
