K.O reveals his favorite African female vocalist of all time 75

K.O has had a tremendous music career and even though 2016 was one of his bad years, he bounced back and came back like he never left at all and dropped on us hit records like ‘Eloy’, ‘Fire Emoji’ with AKA, ‘MS2’, ‘Call Me’ with Runtown, ‘Waya Waya’ together with Cassper Nyovest and ‘Swagganova’ just to mention but a few.

K.O on his solo, lucrative music career has seen him working with talented and best vocalists of this time from Tanzanian vocalist, songstress and songwriter, Vanessa Mdee to our very own Nandi Madida but surprisingly these two great artistes are not K.O’s best vocalists in Africa.

Taking to social media, K.O said that the best vocalist in Africa according to him is none other than Mariechan and once you listen to her collaborative record with yet another vocalist Shekhinah on the ‘Different’ record that was released back in 2018 you’d agree that indeed Mariechan is a talented vocalist and a bona fide artiste.

“Favorite African female vocalist Mariechan” K.O wrote on Instagram.

Mariechan who released one of the powerful EPs in 2018 dubbed ‘Cherry Blossom’ has not on a record released any single or worked on any project with K.O so far but there’s a high chance that these two great, established artistes in their own right might together.
