Cassper Nyovest released his debut album back in 2014 dubbed ‘Tsholofelo’ and to many hip hop connoisseurs, they tend to believe to this day that the album was one of the best rap projects that a South African hip hop artiste has ever put out.

The rapper who is always keen to interact with his fans on social media, especially on Twitter took the time to break down how and why it’s important to any rapper to have a successful debut album.

“Time. Your first album is made or planned in your head for about 10 years. Everything after that is made in a few months,” he explained.

The ‘Baby Girl’ hitmaker explained how making the first album is usually based on a fearless point of view because it’s the first project you are putting out and you don’t have any stress whatsoever or doubting yourself if the album will be successful or not.
