Cassper Nyovest unveils new chest tattoo that pays homage to Riky Rick 0

Cassper Nyovest seems to be still in denial about Riky Rick being gone, I mean, not everybody has accepted that Riky Rick is no longer with us.

Earlier on this year, Riky Rick, real name Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado passed away on the 23rd, February 2022 which most of us received the news as a shock, nobody was ready, we were not prepared to see Cotton Club Records owner and the Boyz N Bucks member leave the hip hop realm just like that.

Among the top rappers in the country who are still hurt by the passing of the rapper is Cassper Nyovest and he doesn’t shy away from letting the world know from time to time that he really misses him.

“The way ke missang Riky Rick ka teng,” Mufasa’s tweet that was sent out on November 6th 2022 read.

Recently, Cassper Nyovest also decided to pay homage to the Boss Zonke himself via a permanent tattoo on his chest.

Nyovest had the words; ‘We never die we multiply’ across his sternum that harmoniously merge with his chest tattoo has social media excited.

As we all know, these are the famous words that Riky Rick loved to say whenever he gets an opportunity to do so. It’s the same lingo that Rick would say just as much as he would say, ‘okay, let’s do it like this,” on most of his records.

Cassper Nyovest took to social media to show off his tats, actually he showed all the tats on his torso with the huge mural of a lion on his entire back.

Still mourning DJ Sumbody’s death

Cassper Nyovest is also still mourning the sudden, horrible death of one of Mzansi’s great deejays in the music industry, DJ Sumbody who he was super close with.

During DJ Sumbody’s wake, Cassper Nyovest recalled how the deejay was really persistent in working with him and couldn’t take a no for an answer in any way whatsoever.

He admitted that once they worked together on that ‘Monate Mpolaye’ record, he didn’t know that it will blow up the way it did and become one of the best songs he’d ever performed live for his fans.

He disclosed how happy DJ Sumbody was when he saw him perform the record at the Global Citizen event that was headlined by Jay Z and Beyonce.

“We did Monate Mpolaye, and we released the song, I didn’t feel the song I just did it because he wouldn’t take no for an answer, he kept on calling. When the song was released, it changed everyone’s career not only his but even mine,” Nyovest said in part.

“It became one of my biggest songs to perform on stage, and when I performed it at Global Citizen, he gave me a call to give me props and told me that the only thing that was missing was him so that Beyoncé can see him perform,” he added.
