it’s been a busy year for hip hop, Kwesta names his favorite projects of 2018 71

2018 has been a very good year for South African hip hop and the hip hop artistes in the game and even though that’s true, we still suffered major losses as a the hip hop community when two hip hop legends, Pro Kid and HHP who made everything possible for the current generation to win the way they are doing now left us to go be with the most High.

Hip hop will never forget HHP and Pro Kid forever and am not talking about in South Africa alone but across the African region because their music transcended borders and didn’t have any plateaus that they couldn’t break down.

Rest in Power HHP and Pro Kid.

2018 has seen great projects get released with Nasty C releasing his sophomore album ‘Strings and Bling’, AKA releasing his already turned platinum album ‘Touch My Blood’, Anatii dropping a vernacular album ‘Iyeza’ out of the blue, Bigstar Johnson releasing his debut album ‘Me and Mines’ KiD X released his debut album ‘Thank Da King’ with Cassper Nyovest scheduled to drop his Kwaito album on 1st December at the Moses Mabhida Stadium dubbed ‘Sweet and Short’, the year has really been busy for our rappers so much so that we got to give it up for them for the great work they have been doing thus far.
