If you get to have a shout out from the one and only rap’s O.G, Stogie T today that means you are doing something big or you are on top of your game, Stogie T’s cosigns doesn’t come easy, you have to earn them.
It is known that Stogie T is known for making rap look easy because he is just that good, period.
Stogie T was as excited as most of us after Kwesta released the official record ‘I Came I Saw’ that featured Rick Ross and he took to Twitter to express just how happy he is now that the bridge between American rappers and South African rappers is making South African rap global thanks to Kwesta.
“Kwesta released a song with Rick Ross. I dint think you guys understand how far we have come. THIS IS A BIG DEAL. Not because we want validation but because we want to be measured by global standards. There is some kid right now learning to rap who will benefit from this move. 🙌🏾” Stogie T said on Twitter.
Stogie T also made it clear that there’s only one South African Hip Hop and iterated that Hip Hop always demand more and emcees should not suck one bit.
“Also guys in case you were confused. There is only one South African Hip Hop. MC or Rapper or Trapper or Sneaker Head whatever. If you identify yourself as hip hop or an MC that’s what you are but just know that there are rules and one of them is that WE DEMAND MORE!! DON’T SUCK” he added on Twitter.
