Shekhinah wins big at the concluded 5th annual Afrima Awards 66

Shekhinah was at Accra International Conference Centre for the 5th annual Afrima Awards which was full of all the mentionable A-list celebrities from all over Africa, from Kenya to South Africa to Ghana to Nigeria to Morocco to Tanzania, you name them.

The talented artiste who brought forth the Rose Gold album -which you can’t get enough of by the way- made South Africa proud by bagging two of the three awards she was nominated for at the coveted annual award ceremony, she didn’t win the ‘Best Album of The Year’ category where she was also nominated for.

Shekhinah won two awards in the categories of ‘Best Southern African female’ and in the category of ‘Best Song Writer’ beating collectively established artistes from different countries like Ammara Brown, Babes Wodomu, Lily, Mandisa Mamba,Nadia Nakai, Rouge, Ruby the Pigeon, Cobhams Asuquo, Daphne Nije, Salatiel, Maitre Gims, Vianney, Renaud Rebillaud, Nandy, Nasibu Abdul Juma Issaack, Saim El-Hadj, Simisola, Venancio to win the awards.
