Emtee recently went to Accra, Ghana to represent South Africa in the category of Best artiste, duo or group in Africa RnB & Soil, even though He didn’t win the award, he won over some fans in Ghana.
Emtee is known for always speaking his mind out no matter what anybody thinks about him, he is one of the very few rappers who will tell it as it is and earlier on via his social media, he opened up about those people who wants to see him fall and not succeed and having no real industry friend today.
“Now that I’m here, they can’t stand it. Im solid n got nothing to prove. On God. You see me coolin wid those who got my back. The rest might even take my life so I stay away. Lately I enjoy my own company. Till this Day i don’t really have a celebrity friend” he said in part.
Emtee talked about a whole lot about some other stuffs that not most entertainers leave alone rappers don’t talk about but he iterated that he’s only keen in making music and since that’s his job he will continue doing just that.

Somebody said; “They don’t respect you down south, why?” Me; Back, home some n*ggas is full of sh*t but I’m used to it. My job is making music. The rest is just what it comes with. Family to keep me down to earth, my supporters who motivate me and listen to WTF I’m sayin on these songs, prayer and self knowledge. Nobody ever pulled up on me with no street sh*t. It’s always been internet shit. Totally meaningless and safe … FOR THEM.
