Cassper Nyovest real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo was dumb founded by the surreal reception he received at the airport in Botswana where he was scheduled for a meet and greet at Cell City, Game City Mall in Botswana as hosted by Vee Mampeezy on 30th November 2019.
Thanks to Vee Mampeezy who is a Botswana musician and the leader and songwriter of Lamalanga and Black Money Makers records, Cassper Nyovest was greeted like an Africa King with tradional dancers dancing and cheering for his honor as soon as he arrive in Botswana.
This makes him one of the first rappers from South Africa to be welcomed in a foreign country like that, which in its own way is adding up to his legacy of one day conquering the entire African continent through his music.
Taken aback by the warm, and surprise welcome as curated by Vee Mampeezy, Cassper Nyovest took to social media being thankful and also admitting that he has never been welcomed like that before.
“Botswana. The way you have loved me and taken me as your son is incomparable. My dude @veemampeezy organized a whole welcome at the airport and i was speechless. Thank you soooo much. Can’t wait to see yall at #FillUpRoyalBafokeng that’s happening in exactly 14 days!!!” he wrote on social media.
