K.O’s lands a deal for his fashion line Skhanda Republic 57

K.O has landed a lucrative deal with South Africa’s largest independent retailer of branded fashion clothing & footwear, Studio 88 which will see his Skhanda Republic fashion line be available nationwide after struggling together with his partner, Felo Morez because of distribution limitations.

“Look at God! For the longest of time me & @tsholosa have had distribution limitations with my clothing line @skhandaworld and now through blessings that led to other blessings @studio88_branded has just opened its doors for us!” KO wrote via Instagram post.

The apparel’s merchandise has been in the longest time only available at Fashion Kraal in Braamfontein but now thanks to Style 88 -which is home to South Africa’s largest brands like Converse, Kappa, vans, and Adidas just to mention a few- K.O’s  Skhanda Republic’s merchandise are going to be available nationwide.

“Super humbled by this humongous opportunity as black entrepreneurs, our sincerest gratitude goes out to every key player BTS who contributed to this empowering turn of events 🙏🏾 ‼️ ” he added via Instagram post.

K.O went ahead to promise new and fresh collection, specifically for the Summer scheduled to be released officially on Black Friday on November 23nd exclusively on the Studio 88 retailer shops nationwide.

“‼️Brand new #SkhandaRepublic summer collection drops on #BlackFriday Nov 23rd exclusively at #Studio88” K.O promised the new merch come Black Friday.

K.O has been able to grasp the streets’ attention with his unique apparel that resonates with many youth out there and since his SKhanda Republic fashion line gets most of its inspiration from the streets and his label company being called DustnKOmpany with using dust because he is from the dusty streets of a Township, K.O is surely on the verge of changing South African street wear with his apparel line and through this partnership he just landed with Studio 88, nothing is stopping Mr Cashtime anytime soon.

“The clothing line is inspired by my patriotic obsession with SA culture and of course the aesthetics of my music. I figured it was only logical for me to create my own range seeing that I’ve managed to create fashion trends in the urban space with an ensemble of various other brands. It’s just time for us to do for self and to use that influence to empower us” K.O was once quoted speaking about his clothing line’s inspiration.

Another win for hip hop. Kudos to K.O for this major win!

Here is just a glimpse of how the Skhanda Republic fashion line’s merchandise are as fresh as it gets on these fashion streets.
