Cassper Nyovest has surely made it not only in the hip-hop and rap scene, no no no, but he has also made it in general.
Mufasa has a business empire, apparel line, he is an ambassador at Ciroc and now he is giving out a lecture at GIBS (Gordons Institute of Business Science – Africa) after a case study was done on him by Refiloe Ramogase who was among a group of MBA students who chose Cassper as their case study.
What an honor today was!!! I was invited to talk at GIBS (Gordons Institute of Business Science – Africa) @GibsBusinessSchool. Africa’s no 1 ranked business school and the only business school in the Financial Times Top 100 global MBA School. My story was presented as case study by a group of MBA Students led by @refiloer . I gave a guest lecture about Building businesses that can survive and thrive in a #VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) business environment, encompassing innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and brand management as sub themes . What this group did was really a brave effort to decolonize the typical business school curriculum. Who ever thought Hip Hop would take it this far? Cassper Nyovest posted after giving out his lecture and answered Q&A at the Gordons Institute of Business Science – Africa.
Here’s a video of Mufasa answering questions in a lecture hall at the Gordons Institute of Business Science – Africa
Shifting the culture forward! Shout out to @casspernyovest for an awesome guest lecture and Q&A for #EnvironmentofBusiness at @gibsbusinessschool. People do not give enough credit to the agility and innovation required to not only survive but thrive in the quintessentially #VUCA environment that is the music industry! You and @realblackcoffee are prime examples of the requisite critical success factors for #VUCA orientated leadership and the business world deserves to know and learn from your respective stories. God willing the school will agree to publish this case study we are writing on you. Thank you for agreeing to be part of this moment in history… ??
