Black Coffee has taken to social media to explain himself or rather talk about the inspiration behind the Music Is King festival whilst he was at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg where the first inaugural festival will go down.

“basically am putting together a show that is fully driven by music, I’m a space where I’m starting to create music that is not described or pigeonholed into a genre, you know and, I feel music should be celebrated as music and not divided, ’cause then it divides people, it divides their beliefs and their thoughts. And this show is basically about music and we’re putting together a really next level show. So it’s really going to be like a mix of all these different crowds. It’s not really about house music, it’s not about hip-hop, it’s not about anything else, it’s just a celebration of music.” Black Coffee said in the video he shared.
