South Africa was elated after learning that Drake is coming to South Africa for the very first time despite the hefty price the tickets were going for.

Apparently Drake was allegedly scheduled to hold major concerts in three African countries; Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa with him performing in three major cities in South Africa; Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.

The concert was so hyped up that fans through tweeps asked Cassper Nyovest to open up for the international artiste which he subtly declined saying that he is past opening up for international artistes in South Africa.

“I’m no longer excited about opening for any international acts in SA because I sell out the venues myself. Collaborating with him would be a dream come true. DRIZZY A SUPERSTAR FOR REAL!!!!” Cassper Nyovest said iterating the fact that he would love to work on a future project with Drake one day though if any opportunity arises.

As reported by TimesLive, event organizer George Avakian broke the news which got everybody excited about Drake coming to South Africa.

It has been confirmed that the hyped-up Drake concert is not going to happen as the website that was selling the tickets to the bogus concert has since been shut down completely which in turn has made fans angry about it all the same and they took to social media to open up about their disappointments.
