Nadia Nakai has been getting awfully close to Grammy-nominated rapper and Chicago native Vic Mensa on his trip to South Africa.
Vic Mensa real name Victor Kwesi Mensah who is now back in Chicago after his trip to Africa was spotted numerous times together with our very own Nadia Nakai.
Vic Mensa who spent a lot of his time in Ghana, where his father is from also got to chill and work with the likes of Sarkodie while he was there and other local artistes while there.
The talented rapper and lyricist fell in love at least with being in the company of Nadia Nakai and —though it hasn’t been confirmed— also with Nadia Nakai herself.
Both celebrated rappers were virtually inseparable when Mensa was in Mzansi with Nadia Nakai taking him to different places, even taking him to go see nature and wild animals at the national park where Mensa was elated to see some zebras.
Nadia Nakai has always been on the down-low about her relationships in the past and actually not a lot of people, at least in the public domain, knows all about her personal life and her boyfriends but in the case of Vic Mensa, she got people talking all about that “situationship”.
The duo also met in Ghana for the music video shoot for the same track, the video is yet to be released.
Nakai was even spotted sitting and getting comfy on Vic Mensa’s lap in the Instagram story.
The rappers have a collaborative record dubbed ‘Practice’ which is taken off the deluxe version of Nadia Nakai’s ‘Naked II’.
Nadia Nakai disclosed how she came about working and meeting up with Vic Mensa for the very first time.
She opened up on the PopCast with Ms Cosmo and Scoop Makhathini revealing that she met Vic Mensa on Instagram after she commented on one of his Instagram posts.
He thereafter reached out to her telling her that he loves her music and that she should share any song that she would want him to feature on.
The ‘Naaaa Meeean’ hitmaker shared the ‘Practise’ record among many other songs but they got to collaborate on the aforementioned track over the rest. She disclosed that the song was already complete but she had to delay the release of ‘Practice’ just for Vic Mensa to lace his verse on it.
Nadia Nakai together with Vic Mensa have both been posting each other on social media across all platforms without hinting at anything going on or even captioning their photos in a way that might give netizens a hint of what’s going on, they’ve let the world to decide for themselves whether they are dating or not.
Nadia Nakai was also spotted a bracelet with Vic Mensa’s real name “Kwesi” on it, that might have just have made it official.
