Yanga Chief finally got to release the highly anticipated album ‘Becoming A Pop Star’ that was previously scheduled to be released last year, it was however pushed back by his management label, Vth Season due to unknown reasons but what’s important is that it’s finally here and we sure can’t seem to get enough of the project.
The 9-track album features Kwaito beat-making connoisseur, Makwa, Boity, AKA, Cape Town’s sensation, Dee Koala, and Riky Rick. The ‘Utatakho Remix’ record has since made Boity become the talk of these rap streets for days because of the rather sick verse she spat on that record which she’s a part of.
This BAPS project is out of this world I tell you. Eish! the heat that’s in there, nobody can handle it seamlessly.
The official Courvoisier brand ambassador poured his heart out on this project, he even tatted his arm with the name of the album, BAPS, deservingly so I might add because this project will go down in history as one of the best African rap albums to come out of from South Africa.
