Renowned business mogul and reputable financier Joe Kariuki, the man who brought you the fabled Candy and Candy Records and made quite the moves in the City’s business circles, has just scored a major win – quite literally.
The celebrated City tycoon’s company 51 Capital, an online forex trading, has just been nominated as the Second Best Forex trader in Africa for the year 2019.
51 Capital operates under the formidable Candy and Candy Records, which has been one of the most highly-rated Entrepreneurship companies in Nairobi.
The ranking was done by a leading Forex broker IC Markets based in Sydney Australia, which expertly recognized 51 Capital in a packed pool of high-flying Forex Trading entities across Africa and across the Mediterranean.
The overall Winner inevitably was South Africa’s, Sandile Shezi.
Other winners included Uche ParaGon of Lagos, Nigeria, Forex ACA LTD of Accra, Ghana, Forex Tunisia ltd. of Tunis, Tunisia and Arab Forex of Cairo, Egypt in the stiff competition that run from Mid-May to November.
This sleek group formed what emerged as the top 10 traders from a pool of hundreds of traders and the competition involved trading a mouth-watering £200,000 fund.
As the Runners-Up, 51 Capital bagged an impressive £15,000 (Ksh. 1, 975, 622. 75) .
The winner walked away with a jaw-dropping £20,000 ( Ksh. 2,633, 422.43).
Speaking to the press, an elated Joe Kariuki expressed his gratitude and extreme delight at the monumental win.
‘I have been toiling hard at this new venture and to get such a huge honor so soon, to get recognized so fast and by such a reputable firm is beyond humbling. I’m glad that I still have the Midas touch I have always had for business. We want to make 51 Capital the most reputable Forex Trading company in Africa. Give me a couple years,’ he said confidently.
Sitting in his lush offices in Westlands, Nairobi ensconced in one of the City’s most serene neighborhoods, Joe expresses his delight at the pace he has seen 51 Capital grow and the massive gains they have managed to make within several months.
‘51 capital also emerged 2nd in the best trainers category. This involved each trader to front 10 trainees to participate in the competition. Arab traders from Cairo, Egypt emerged victorious.
