This 13-minute African cartoon tells the uplifting story of a village girl named Sara whose attendance at school is threatened when the family insists that there is only enough money to send her brother to school.
When Sara’s teacher lends her a book describing new methods offering greater economy to the villagers’ farming and cooking, Sara undertakes a plan that will help her village and insure her continued attendance at school. This was produced to promote education for girls in rural Africa. Dubbed in English.
