Cashless Society is the second music video to be released from Reasons Album, Azania.
The song and music video tell the story of how South African townships were built and designed to keep the black majority in the country, below the poverty line.
This leads to toxic elements such as crime, drugs, violence and abuse taking over the communities and pushing the people who live in them into further self destruction.
The video was directed by a Motion Billy from Cape Town, and the song was produced by a talented young girl by the name of Molly1080.
The record also features 2019’s Lyricist of the Year Award winner at the South African Hip Hop Awards, Ginger Trill.
