Joel Vincent Joseph who was born on 31st March 1985, is better known by his stage name Mr Puaz, is a Tanzania singer, songwriter and Music Manager. Upon the release of his breakthrough debut single “Usiku Wa Leo”, Mr Puaz was named among the “Most Promising Act to Watch” in Tanzania Vibe Magazine Awards in 2015.
He was born in Arusha and raised in Babati where he had his primary education and secondary education at Marangu Secondary School in Moshi, Tanzania. He is a degree holder of Computer engineer at New Horizons Institute of Technology.
In 2017, Mr Puaz released his debut single “Usiku Wa Leo”, which featured Structure P & Eddy G. The song was produced by John B from Grandmaster records, the song received positive critical reviews, topped national music charts and gained extensive airplay. Among other songs he previously released was “Sweet baby” and “Kila wakati”
He was signed under WCB Wasafi Record Label as an artiste manager in 2018. He was given the responsibility to manage one of the first WCB Wasafi signed artiste Harmonize. His first project with Harmonize was “Kwa ngwaru” which was released in April 2018.

The song hit number one in East Africa and has been nominated in several awards such as African Music Awards (AFRIMMA) and African Entertainment United State Awards ( AEUSA). He was spotted as among the top rising music manager in east Africa by Mseto East Africa.
Previously Mr Puaz worked with Shetta who is a Tanzania rapper on the project called “Namjua”
Mr Puaz describes his style of music as “Afro- pop”, a blend of afro-beat and pop music. His lyrics are mostly in his Swahili language and little bit of English.
