KiD X is happy to have worked with Dr Esther Mahlangu -who is a South African artist from the Ndebele nation. She is known for her bold large-scale contemporary paintings that reference her Ndebele heritage. Dr Esther Mahlangu was conferred with an honorary doctorate by the University of Johannesburg, 9 April 2018.- on his debut album where she got to draw the cover art photo for his debut album ‘Thank Da King’ which is out an in stores now.

Taking to social media, KiD X expressed how honored he is to have worked with the living Queen of Ndebele on his successful, and completed the project.
“My exact thought at this very moment What it take to really take it to the heights of Dr. Esther and btakesd ?!!? Honored to have collaborated with the Queen of Ndebele art on my debut album, it’s in stores nationwide, get that!!!” KiD X said on his social media post.
