Most fans coming up to speed of knowing who is who in the African music industry might not know how talented DJ Maphorisa is because they are just starting following up the music industry but what they don’t know is that the internationally acclaimed DJ and record producer has been in the music business for quite a while, dominating the industry while at it.
Just to mention a few hit records like ‘Soweto Baby’ featuring Wizkid and DJ Buckz and Mlindo The Vocalist’s ‘AmaBlesser’ and ‘Lotto’ by Samthing Soweto featuring Mlindo The Vocalist, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small were both produced by DJ Maphorisa.
DJ Maphorisa has even worked with east African artiste Rayvanny making him one of the best sort-after record producers, artiste, and DJ South Africa is very proud of.
Speaking with Zkhiphani, DJ Maphorisa reminded those who were sleeping on him that’s he is indeed a big deal in the music industry in case you didn’t know about that already.
“I understand. Other people don’t know me. They only know me now so I have to always remind people that ‘yo, I am a big deal. Don’t take me lightly.”

A couple of months back, August 2019 to be precise, DJ Maphorisa took to Twitter, unprovoked, and went on to list some of the big hits that he has worked on iterating that there’s no record label in existence that can say no to him if he were to work with him.
