Flame is one rapper that has proved everything is positive if you set your mind right and focus to achieve your goal.
He has absolutely achieved quite a lot without any major label backing him up and/or without having a hefty budgets for his project/s but he has done for himself and made himself and the South African hip hop scene proud.
The independent rapper took over the 2019’s South African Hip Hop Awards after he bagged two awards; ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Freshman(Newcomer) which he very well deserved.
The award winning artiste released his ‘CandyMan’ project mid this year that has been acclaimed and cosigned by the upper echelon rappers and fans at large with hip hop enthusiasts deeming it the best project he has released yet.
Taking to social media, The CandyMan went on to tell his fans that he is thinking about changing his name from Flame to FLVME since there are other artistes and brands who are going by the same name and would love to have a difference between himself and other parties who are using the same name like him.
“I been thinking of changing my name from “Flame” to “FLVME”. It’s too many of us with one name and ends up mixing up my information with the other Flames. I need y’alls support on this” his tweet read.
The rapper iterated that he intends to keep the pronunciation of his name even though he is contemplating on the idea of changing how the name is written altogether.
