Since Emtee came into the game a few years back, the trap movement in the country has been on a roll releasing hit records after another and even getting to work with Nigerian superstar Wizkid on his project that saw him make a name for himself not only locally and regionally but internationally.
Emtee who is currently in Ghana for the Afrima Awards(All Africa Music Awards) where he has been nominated for the category of Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African RnB & Soul reminded us that indeed he is a platinum selling rap artiste in the game lest you already forgotten.

Emtee’s album ‘Avery’ which was released on December 5th 2015 as his debut album won him the South African Music Award for Best Hip Hop Album, with three nominations; South African Music Award for Best Newcomer, South African Music Award for Male Artist of the Year, South African Music Award for Album of the Year both in 2016.
