AKA has come so far from his debut album ‘Altar Ego’ and his single ‘Congratulate’ still makes sense today and we can’t get enough of the Supa Mega even if we want to, he is a musical force and better still an icon in whatever he does and by that I mean in business since he jumped on that wagon.
Hate it or love it, AKA changed the game period.
Since those days, AKA has turned into an icon we can to love today and it hasn’t been an easy ride for him, today he opened up about how most of his singles has been taken down from YouTube without any legitimate reasons and he had to reupload them back again causing him to lose million upon million video views.
AKA has called out for his fans to back him up and support him now more than ever and come June 15th 2018, his third and final album ‘Touch My Blood’ will officially launch and he needs us to rally behind him.
With the singles in the album, I am sure the album is bound to sell out quickly as fresh bread and sell more than a platinum because it is anticipated not only in South Africa but everywhere.
This is what he had to say:
Tomorrow is the deadline for me to hand in my 3rd and final album. For me it’s bittersweet right now because my videos were removed off YouTube and reloaded yesterday, in the process, wiping out millions of views. My debut album, “Altar Ego” has been taken down multiple platforms. All my hard work and sacrifice. But you know what, my music and legacy stays alive in your hearts and memories. All you need to know is that people are trying to control me and my legacy. They cannot erase me. They will not derail me. They will only make me stronger. The music industry is f***** exactly because people exploit artists and try and control & contain their talent. You all know exactly who is doing what. One thing is for sure, come the 15th of June, I know you’ll have my back. ?? Nobody can stop us. I need your support more than ever. So please be patient and keep me in your prayers and thoughts.
