Ray C is a bonafide artiste in the entertainment game. She took a long hiatus because of her drug addiction which took tool on her that the former President Jakaya Kikwete had to step in and help her.
First forward to this year after she got clean, lost weight(40 kgs to be exact) and focused in life, she got a recording contract with one of the biggest recording labels in Tanzania, Wanene Entertainment but only to get dropped for merely leaking her single which the record label had plans to release it on a planned date.

Speaking to East African TV, the manager at Wanene Entertainment, Gentris indeed confirmed that Ray C had to part ways with the Wanene Entertainment due to her dishonesty for leaking her demo.
Ray C has not however, left any comment or react to the decision of Wanene Entertainment and does not seem swayed in regret or remorse by the decision of the W.E management to drop her. She is going on her normal life like nothing happened.
