Kayvo Kforce real name Kevin Ambalwa is a young pioneer in Kenyan music. He is a household name in East African Hip hop circles. Born and raised in Kibera slum, he is a force to be reckoned with as far as lyrical capacity and delivery are concerned.

He gained famed after the being a member of the Kibera hip hop group called K-Force where he stood out from the members. He has since broken out of the group to become one of the fiercest and respected rap artistes not only in east Africa but regionally. He can rap in fluent English and also in Swahili and the local Kenyan slang called ‘sheng’.

When the rapper jumps on any beat, he is bound to deliver like a mid-wife.

The artiste has been featured by many artistes like Khaligraph Jones, gospel rapper, Maluda, B-Reign and also shared a cypher stage with Nazizi, Bamboo, Khaligraph Jones and M.I Abaga at the Coke Studio.

He is known for his reality raps style where he leaves no verse to fiction. Kayvo Kforce is also known for his leadership among his peers in Kenyan Hip hop circles having mentored the likes of Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo directly and indirectly. He is still mentoring a host of young and upcoming musicians. Kayvo Kforce is currently working very hard to elevate Kenyan hip hop scene back to the top where its supposed to be if his new releases are any indication.
